Located inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, the San Gennaro is an intimate residence with a panoramic terrace. It has traditional stone rooms with vaulted ceilings and private bathrooms.
The Residence Sassi San Gennaro was built between the 15th and 17th centuries, with rooms carved directly out of the rock. Offering views over the city, each is decorated with wrought-iron beds and antique furnishings.
A buffet breakfast is provided daily using local ingredients. Guests can also use the free Wi-Fi in the reception area.
Matera Cathedral is 200 m from the property. Matera Station is a 15-minute walk away. Guests can enjoy discounted rates at a nearby partner car park.
