Khar Hotel Skardu is a 4-star boutique hotel located in Kargrong/Toqrangah near the NCHD Office in the heart of Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Khar Skardu is the vision of a family deeply rooted in Skardu—a dream brought to life by our father, whose passion for heritage and hospitality inspired this unique resort. What began as an idea to create a mountain-themed sanctuary has now evolved into a 14-room retreat that embodies the soul of Skardu’s fortresses and the warmth of Balti culture. Baltistan is known for its centuries-old forts and architectural wonders, standing as testaments to its rich history. We wanted to carry this legacy forward by creating a space that honors the past while embracing modern-day comfort and hospitality. Khar Skardu is our tribute to this land, its traditions, and its people. Built with love and care, Khar is more than a hotel it’s a story waiting to be lived.
