The Kasbah Tebi is an absolute must-do, unique experience in Morocco. The staff is friendly and the house, despite having no electricity, is extremely romantic and well appointed (good plumbing). The food was excellent and the entire experience is very civilised, yet communal. You can get through the “old city” in about half a day or a day so this is more of a 1-2 night stay. Movie buffs will appreciate the opportunity to see where a number of classic movies were filmed, from Lawrence of Arabia to Gladiator to King Tut and everything in between, in addition to Game of Thrones.
