Located just 30 m from the entrance to Assisi's historic centre, Hotel Porta Nuova is just 200 m from the Basilica di Santa Chiara. This early 20th-century villa has been completely renovated.
The villa offers air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV and a minibar. Each one has a private bathroom with a hairdryer and shower. Some rooms have beautiful views of the Umbrian valley, others overlook the courtyard.
Porta Nuova is a family-run property that provides excellent bus links into Assisi. San Rufino Cathedral is around 400 m away, while you can reach the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in 25 minutes on foot.
You will find a TV lounge and a veranda and terrace on the first floor. Outdoors there are plenty of benches and tables, and a chair swing. The continental breakfast is served buffet style and includes homemade cakes, cold cuts, croissants and lots more.
